10th Anniversary

Vtec Trailers celebrated its 10 year anniversary with a gala evening on 10 September 2011 on the banks of the Vaal River in Vanderbijlpark. It was an event that will be remembered for years to come, attended by staff, suppliers, clients, friends and family.

Riverside Lifestyle Resort played host to the prestigious event, ensuring a beautiful setting, exquisite welcoming drinks and attention to detail on the tastefully decorated tables in the hall.  The menu once again proved to be of world-class standard with the desert table being both beautiful and delicious!

Considering the event being strictly formal, who would expect less that to be entertained by a world class master of ceremonies, Mr GP Van Rheede Van Oudtshoorn, and his equally famous band, It Takes Four. The guests jived, the guests tangoed and young and old alike rock and rolled the night away!

Being an anniversary celebration, tears were brought to the eyes of guests when the presentation on the company’s 10 year history was led by the CEO of Vtec Trailers, Tobie Venter. Highlights of the past 10 years included the addition of more than 20 agents across the northern part of South Africa, trailers sold locally as well as internationally, and the company name, “Vtec Trailers®” and its slogan, “Nothing ever gets left behind®”, being registered as trademarks with CIPRO.

Not only did the company grow steadily from a part time business into a stable enterprise, the company also expanded to include well-known companies as clients. The community has not been forgotten, with sponsorships ranging from a local Children’s home to the SPCA.

The absolute highlight of the evening was the lucky draw, with suppliers sponsoring numerous valuable gifts. Anke and her photography team from KikiLove captured these special moments to be remembered.

It was truly a celebration of a company that has grown steadily into a well-known brand, with a durable and reputable product seen on the roads throughout Africa.
